Though there is a minimum charge for all projects, estimates are not based on the value of the object, but rather the difficultly, time, and materials necessary to complete the job.  Though we do not generally require advance deposits, we typically require payment in full upon completion of the project.

Although we have an umbrella insurance policy to cover artwork in transit to and from our facility, and while under our care, we do advise you to take out a special rider on your own insurance policy for the time the artwork is deposited with our studio.

We do not offer appraisals. Appraisal is an altogether separate professional activity from conservation. If you wish to know the value of your artwork before seeking conservation treatment, we recommend you contact an expert in the appropriate field.
